January 1st will be here before we know it. In fact, it's just 55 days away! The dreaded "tax seasons" will begin for all of us in the accounting field. As a business owner, you may be dreading January 1 as well. The good news is that you can prepare NOW to ensure that your new year is full of celebrations instead of dread.

If you already have a process in place, take time now to reconcile your business bank account(s) to ensure all of your expenses are documented. Review your financial statements for accuracy. If you have questions about specific deductions, you can post those to a "holding account" until you can discuss with your tax consultant.
